THE TERM "Standing in a puddle" is a colloquial expression in reference to the result of the effect that some outside stimulus has on a female of the human species when she is dressed in typical western garb, a skirt, and becomes sexually stimulated, resulting in the production of lubricant from glands around her vagina.

The overproduction of lubricant caused by a more powerful than usual, or "potent," sexual stimulus, in this illustration causes a pooling of liquid at the feet of the female, thus resulting in the female's "standing in a puddle."
